FILM in the Studio | Frederick County Film Photographer | Katie Ballantine Photography

I am so thrilled to start using film photography in my studio as well as outdoors.  I took a course last year to teach me the ins and outs of using film indoors and how to get enough light to achieve a beautiful effect.  I have been using both natural light and my studio light with film, and I am in love with both, so sessions will be a combination of studio lighting and natural lighting.

The film I use creates GORGEOUS, creamy skin tones without the need to smooth skin.  I have been falling in love with film more and more over the last few years, so I’m very excited to start using it full time with all of my clients.  I’ll post some favorite indoor film shots on this blog post to give you an idea of what to expect.  I have more indoor film sessions coming up in February with clients, and I cannot wait!
