Don’t Let Winter Stop You

Just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean you have to have a cold and dark session for your little ones.

Being outdoors in winter can be fun for little ones for about 5 minutes, and then the cold toes and red, runny noses start to appear. Having visions of your children shivering with fake smiles while you try to get them to pose outside?

Say “no” to the cold, and cozy up for an indoor studio session.

How I Keep the Studio Warm and Cozy for Babies and Kids

Kids and babies (especially newborns) need a warm and cozy space in order to open up and feel happy for a session.

• A few hours before your session starts, I always use a small space heater to warm up the room, blankets, and wraps for your baby/child.
• I also have a large window that lets in a lot of sun rays and light for a beautiful, natural feel to the space.
• Using soft materials is another way I keep the studio warm and cozy. All of my fabrics have smooth and comfortable textures for babies and children to use.

Worried your indoor winter session will look dark?

Sessions in my beautiful home studio are always bright and beautiful. All of the light colors on the walls and floors allow the light to bounce around to create perfect lighting.
