    Typically when I shoot pictures of my own kids, I have my iphone handy or use one of my professional cameras.  However, there are certain circumstances that call for something else.  For instance, this weekend we had the blizzard come through and burry the East Coast.  I would have loved to bring my “fancy” camera outside in the blizzard, but I also didn’t want to risk dropping a piece of very expensive equipment in the snow.  So, I brought out the ole Panasonic Lumix.   • Katie | Wyomissing Maternity Photographer

    I met up with Katie and her beautiful family this week at a park.  They were such good sports to go out in the cold on a cloudy day.  The youngest (for now!), Rory, insisted on carrying her dolly around during the shoot, and she was even in many of the pictures.  I love when families can be themselves, and I love when I can capture these moments!  Katie, you are glowing, and I can’t wait to meet your little one!

  • Heather | Maternity Session

    My first session of the new year was absolutely amazing.  I came back to my hometown in Maryland for this maternity session of Heather.  Heather and her husband Nathan have been together since high school just like my husband and I, and we’ve all been friends since high school as well.  So, that just made this session even more special and exciting to photograph.  Heather and Nathan are expecting their baby girl in February, and I can’t wait to meet her.
