I am often asked why I love to shoot film so much over digital.  For me, film is an art that cannot be replicated using a digital camera.  The tones, the dynamic range, the softness, and the 3-D effect are all so magical.  I choose which film I use for a session based on the color profile I want in my finished art.  For golden, warm tones, I use my Kodak Portra film… for light and airy pastel tones, I choose my Fuji film.

The Moyer family’s session was in a field and on the beach, and film captured their images so perfectly.  The light and color tones are so gorgeous.  I am so excited to share this beautiful family on the blog today.  #believeinfilm
