What’s a Dog Session with Katie Like?

Have you seen the adorable dog pictures on my facebook and instagram and wondered:

“How on Earth did she get the dogs to pose like that?”

“My dog would never behave for that”

Do NOT Worry! Your dog gets to be a dog during sessions!

During dog sessions, I do NOT expect dogs to behave perfectly and sit still. It’s actually quite the opposite.

When dogs can sniff around, be themselves, play with a ball, jump after bubbles, and do tricks for treats, THEY LOVE IT!

Tricks Up My Sleeve

I LOVE working with dogs and have had dogs in my life the last 25+years. I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to get dogs to make funny expressions and to look in certain directions during the shoot. Dog safe peanut butter is one of these tricks. Dogs LOVE it! And we get some super cute tongue shots.

What if my dog is moving too quickly?

When it comes to moving subjects, I’ve got you covered! My studio light and camera setup allows me to capture fast action. Your dog can jump and run and catch treats, and I will freeze that motion easily.

Dog Sessions are a BLAST!
