COVID Precautions 2022 | Katie Ballantine Photography | Frederick Newborn and Baby Photographer
Once again, we find ourselves in a high COVID transmission area. The new variants come with new precautions, and so I also update what I’m doing in the studio and in your home to keep everyone safe. I closely follow guidelines given by the CDC and local health officials to be sure I am keeping up to date with new precautions.
What I’m Doing To Keep You Safe
- Studio sessions are limited to 1 per day
- Surfaces are disinfected before and after studio sessions
- I wear a mask during all indoor shoots; both in your home and in my studio
- I am fully vaccinated and boosted
- The studio windows are opened before each session to air out the room
- A HEPA filter runs during sessions in my studio
- Wraps, blankets, and outfits are washed after every use
- I always wash my hands before a shoot and use hand sanitizer throughout the shoot
- My bathroom is disinfected in my home in case clients need to use it
- If I am having any symptoms, I reschedule upcoming sessions and get tested ASAP
I know it can be a scary time with a new baby and young children in your homes. I want to do everything I can to keep your babies safe and still give my clients the gorgeous portraits they deserve. I offer studio sessions, in-home sessions, and outdoors sessions (during warm weather) in order to accommodate different comfort levels.
I hope to schedule with your family soon. Always feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
