I was so excited when Susan contacted me a few months ago about her third baby being on the way.  I had the opportunity to photograph her other two beautiful children as newborns, and I am thrilled to photograph this new little girl when she arrives.  Susan is a beautiful expecting mama, and her children clearly adore her.  We spent a few minutes inside to use a backdrop and then made our way to a local park.  Susan, thank you for this opportunity and I hope you love these images as much as I do! stopping to look at the ducks!

I met up with Katie and her beautiful family this week at a park.  They were such good sports to go out in the cold on a cloudy day.  The youngest (for now!), Rory, insisted on carrying her dolly around during the shoot, and she was even in many of the pictures.  I love when families can be themselves, and I love when I can capture these moments!  Katie, you are glowing, and I can’t wait to meet your little one!

My first session of the new year was absolutely amazing.  I came back to my hometown in Maryland for this maternity session of Heather.  Heather and her husband Nathan have been together since high school just like my husband and I, and we’ve all been friends since high school as well.  So, that just made this session even more special and exciting to photograph.  Heather and Nathan are expecting their baby girl in February, and I can’t wait to meet her. Allison was glowing for her maternity session last week.  The weather was perfect, and the flowers were all in bloom for some beautiful scenery.  I love springtime for portraits.  Allison, I had a great time with you and Adam at your session, and I can’t wait to meet your little girl!
