Mishka was such a dream for her newborn shoot.  She slept for nearly the entire session, and let us try a few different setups.  Mishka is such a beautiful baby, and I know her parents adore her.

Earlier this week I traveled to meet Jane in her beautiful home for some portraits.  Her awesome parents prepped for my arrival, so Jane was asleep and all ready to go when I arrived.  She slept for the first half of her session, so we got some adorable poses.  For the second half, she had other plans, but we have some sweet shots of her with her parents despite her best efforts.  Thank you Michelle and Kurt for choosing me as your newborn photographer!  She is such a doll.

I have rejoined a group of photographers that focuses on one theme each month.  I love to have a theme motivating me, and I think these projects help to develop my creative side as a photographer.  I was thrilled with this month’s theme of Floral.  I used mostly a macro lens for these, but also used a 24-70 for some.  I hope you enjoy this month’s post and keep following my work!
