What Do We Wear for a Newborn Session? | Frederick MD Newborn Photographer | Katie Ballantine Photography
One of the most common questions I receive is “What do we wear to our newborn session?”. Often times, parents are thinking they need to find a bunch of cute outfits for their newborn, which is the last thing they have time to be doing! And the thought of multiple outfits and outfit changes is a nightmare. Well, I have good news! The answer is, your baby needs NOTHING for their newborn session with me! SAY WHAT?! I had my nephews for the weekend while my sister headed to Frisco to watch JMU play in the national championship in football. It was great to be able to spend so much time with them, and also great to be able to photograph them.

My Kiddos | Katie Ballantine Photography
My kiddos are so great. I love that they’ll go to the studio for some shots when I want to finish up a roll of film. Aren’t they the cutest?

Nora and Tessa | Frederick Maryland Baby Photographer | Katie Ballantine Photography
I was thrilled to have adorable twins, Nora and Tessa, in the studio for their sitter milestone session. They’ve changed so much since their newborn session, but they are just as cute as ever. These sweet girls are pros at crawling, so they were excited to crawl around and explore the studio. I’m so glad I have enough space and a pretty room for babies and toddlers to explore during sessions. The entire session was shot on film, and images were scanned and developed by Richard Photo Lab.
