Two Year Portraits A lot of parents focus on the newborn portraits and 1 year portraits, but continuing the photo sessions is so important! Kids want to see themselves grow up in albums and on the walls of your home. So, don’t forget to keep photographing those big kids, too!

Older Babies If you have a new baby at home, but you didn’t get a chance to schedule newborn photographs in the first couple of weeks, that’s ok! It’s still a good idea to schedule baby photos as soon as you can, even if your baby is already a month old or more. Babies change SO fast, and you want to document them as little as you can! BENEFITS OF AN IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION In-home newborn sessions are a great option for gorgeous pictures of your new baby. There are many benefits to having a session at home! TYPES OF PICTURES Just because your pictures will be at your home instead of in my studio does not take away from the quality or variety of images. I always make sure to get pictures of the baby alone, baby in the crib, parents and siblings holding the new baby, and even detail shots! So, you don’t have to worry that you’re missing out on any shots by being at home!

I had the most precious newborn in the studio recently and had to share some of my favorite images from this session. Mom and Dad brought her big sister along for the shoot, and it was the most precious thing to see her hold the new baby.
