Newborn Boy In the Studio Sweet ZJ and his family came to see me this week for his newborn portraits, and he was such a dream! This cute little man is just over 3 weeks old, but he rocked his session. He had some of the best eye contact I’ve ever seen from a newborn, and he was sure to look right at my camera lens! Below you’ll find some of my favorites from ZJ’s session.

Since Mother’s Day is in May, I always love to have “Mommy and Me” sessions in the studio. It’s especially a special time when grandmothers come along for the portraits. I had three generations in my studio last week, and I am so in love with the images. The interactions between mothers and their babies are so beautiful. Images are shot on both digital and Fuji400H film.

When Marilyn reached out to me her vision for a minimalist maternity session, I knew we’d be the perfect fit. I am in love with how the images came out, and Marilyn could not be a more beautiful mama-to-be. I can’t wait to meet and photograph their little man!

I spent a day last weekend with the sweetest family of four. They had recently welcomed their newest baby boy to the family, and they reached out for an in-home newborn session. I love using people’s homes for newborn sessions. I get a chance to capture images of the nursery, special blankets and toys, snuggles on the bed, and images in a variety of rooms. Kinnon is the cutest little guy, and his big brother is loving his new role. Images are captured on Fuji400H film and digital.

Both in-home and studio newborn portraits can be beautifully lit when Mother Nature brings us the perfect weather. One Year Cake Smash Sessions Portraits First One Year Cake Smash sessions start off with regular portraits of your little one in my all white, natural studio. Your one-year-old can explore my chairs, baskets, futon, and window area while I capture adorable shots of him/her. I have wooden toys to keep their interest during this aspect of the session as well. Outfit changes are also welcome! Cake Pictures Next up, the cake smash pictures!
