• Paxton Turns One | Wyomissing Child Photographer

I love capturing the cuties in this sweet family.  I saw Paxton a few months ago for a spring cherry blossom session and fell in love with his adorable smile.  Well, he is one now and still just as cute.  He’s crawling all over, standing, and walking.  It was so cute to see him crawling and walking through the fall leaves, and even cuter when he would try to eat them!  Enjoy the photos of this handsome little dude.

  • Vivianna – 15 Days New | Sinking Spring Newborn Photographer

Vivianna came to the studio last week for her newborn shoot.  She was already 15 days old, but she rocked her session.  I got so many sweet smiles from her, which was adorable, and she slept well for her posed pictures.  I am so excited to share some of my favorites in this blog post!

  • Autumn Family Session | Wyomissing Family Photographer

This autumn family session ended up being one of my all-time favorite sessions.  The fall colors were awesome, but the dreamy sunlight was the icing on the cake!  I loved capturing the fun this family was having and also the sweet face of their little Evelyn.

  • Sweet Sisters | Fall Family Session | Wyomissing Family Photographer

I was so excited when I heard from Marina about doing a session with her girls.  A few years ago I photographed Helene, and I was thrilled that she was bringing along a baby sister this time!  The day turned out to be gorgeous, and I couldn’t ask for better behaved kids.  These girls are naturals in front of the camera and so sweet to each other!  I can’t wait for more opportunities to photograph them.

  • Hooray, More Film! | Film Friday

I am SO glad it’s Friday, so I can do another Film Friday post.  My love/passion/obsession with film is growing each time I get back my scans back. Some people have asked me why I would bother with film when I have a professional digital camera that gives such high quality results.  It’s a tough question to answer, but it mostly comes down to the look I get with film.  Even though there is usually graininess, I love it.  And even though I don’t always catch the “perfect moment” on film, I do get what I call “real images”.  I’m not taking 20 shots of the same pose to get the…

  • My Kids on Film | Film Friday

It’s film Friday again!  I love when it works out that I get my film scans back on a Thursday or Friday because I don’t have to wait long to share.  I got a professional film camera a few weeks ago, took a bunch of pictures, and then turned the rolls in to be scanned.  These were taken on 35mm Fuji 400H.  My next roll was Kodak Portra 160 and should be back in a few days.  I’m pretty happy with how these fuji ones turned out.
